You cannot have a private display of fireworks at your home in Maryland without a permit from the State Fire Marshall.  All fireworks display, regardless of location or type, require the proper permits and insurance.  Fireworks are not permitted on any common areas in Boniwood. SPEEDING IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
Several residents have reported habitual speeding on the streets of Boniwood.  Please observe the posted 25 MPH speed limit while driving in Boniwood.  Our security officers are monitoring for speeding and are issuing citations. So do your part and drive at the posted SAFE speed limit – 25 MPH.

TRASH CAN STORAGE:
Trash and Recycle cans are to be stored in the rear of your home.  To keep Boniwood in compliance with county laws and our Architectural Control Guidelines, place your lidded trash and recycle receptacle out for pick up the evening before or morning of trash pick collection, which is Wednesdays in Boniwood.  Return trash and recycle bins to the rear of your home no later than the night of trash collection day.  Trash placed out in plastic bags are an attraction to unwanted rodents and stray cats.  Place all trash in plastic receptacles to avoid an increase in rodents in and around your home.  Architectural Control Guidelines citations and fines are issued if trash and recycle bins are not stored properly.

BECOME A BONIWOOD BOARD OF DIRECTOR MEMBER:
Please be advised that the Boniwood Homeowners Association, the Boniwood Townhouse Association, and the Clusters Association Number One of Boniwood, ANNUAL MEETINGS will be held in October. The purpose of this meeting will be to elect new members to the Board of Directors of all three (3) Associations. There will be five (5) vacancies to fill for The Homeowners Association and The Cluster Number One Association. There will be three (3) vacancies to fill for the Townhouse Association. Officers of the Associations each seat will serve a one (1) year term.  Board membership is an important way to serve the community. The Boards are responsible for managing the affairs of the associations, adopting the annual association budgets, which are the basis for common area maintenance and represents a portion of everyone's assessment fee. In addition, the Boards are responsible for enforcing the community's covenants and architectural rules, and for ensuring that the common areas of the community are properly maintained. This is your opportunity to ensure that Boniwood’s Associations are managed in a lawful and financially responsible manner.  A call for candidates document with more information will be provided to each homeowner soon.
